“I am involved in servicing corporate and private clients, and as a result, I have gained a wide range of commercial experience. This has enabled me to assist clients in achieving their goals, reach decisions, and provide support whenever they may request my assistance. I qualified with an international firm in Manchester and then worked with a smaller firm there before leaving to relocate to London, where I set up my own practice. I later merged my practice with a larger more established firm to form Weston Kay, which then merged to become part of the current firm of MGR Weston Kay LLP.
I believe that the time spent working in different sized firms, with a variety of businesses and individuals has been invaluable when advising clients at different stages of their development. My current client base is certainly diverse, with businesses operating in many sectors such as luxury goods, fashion, art, theatre, property and finance. I also act for a number of overseas companies that have UK subsidiaries, assisting them not only with compliance issues but also trying to increase their awareness of local culture and practices at an operating level.
Outside of work I enjoy trying to make my grandchildren laugh and spending time with family. Cinema, music and sport also help me to unwind.”
