Why join the mgr team?
A quick glance at the range of sectors we operate in will show you that we are not your average accountancy firm. If you are interested in broadening your career focus into different sectors or simply want to work towards additional qualifications in a more traditional area, our team is here to support you all the way.
We are a fully accredited ICAEW and ACCA employer. We will help you achieve your qualification goal, whether it’s ACA, ACCA, AAT, ATT or CTA.
We have formal training and development programmes and regular ‘lunch and learns’ to share knowledge across the teams. Frequent sessions with external learning providers make sure we are all absolutely up to speed on the latest industry. Our working environment is very collegiate and we never stop learning from either our clients or each other.
It is not all hard graft. We have an active social programme and enjoy any excuse for a social gathering. We have a gym in the office, a personal trainer, and we run yoga classes. We also have a football team that belongs to a local league, with a coach and a director of football. We like to have a fun and healthy balance with Fruity Tuesdays, Fizzy Fridays and a monthly cake day.

Our graduate apprenticeships
Our Level 7 Apprenticeship programme is the equivalent of a Masters Degree and results in the ACA accountancy qualification. As with most apprenticeships, you study while you work, attending college at the same time as gaining practical, hands-on experience.
The ACA qualification requires you to pass 15 exams and, in the final stage, you need to complete a 4,000-word project report.
During your apprenticeship, we’ll give you all the support and guidance you need. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of different industry sectors to help you choose where your accountancy career might take you.
To be accepted onto our apprenticeship programme, you need a minimum of a 2:1 degree and a minimum of Grade B or above in A-Levels.
