Mgr’s audit function aims to take the headache of compliance away from our clients, allowing them to focus on what really matters in their business.

There is a legal requirement for UK companies to be audited unless the group qualifies as small. Prior to 1 January, 2021 entities with a parent company in the EEA were able to apply for an audit exemption for subsidiaries. This exemption ceased on 1 January 2021.

As a UK-based firm, we have extensive experience acting as group auditors of medium and large organisations including those with international subsidiaries. We deal with domestic and international component auditors. We also act as component auditors, ensuring internal deadlines and requests of group auditors are met.

Mgr has experience in dealing with the UK and international accounting standards including IFRS and UK GAAP and our audits are fully ISA compliant. Whilst being a general practice we have extensive expertise in specialist audit areas including lifestyle and hospitality, retail and wholesale, health and care, property, travel (including ATOL audits) and media and entertainment.

Since we understand that it may be hard to communicate in a foreign language, we have built up a team of German, French, Portuguese and many more native speakers who can help you with your queries.
