Most Embarrassing moment:
There are numerous ones most of which will only be heard in the confessional box, but for public consumption I am prepared to admit to one whilst staying in a 5 star hotel in London a few years ago. I got to the hotel about 9pm after a day of back to back meetings and was told by the reception desk that the only room left (even though it had been booked weeks before) was a disabled persons room, which was fine with me. However, I was desperate to go to the toilet and as soon as I got into the room I threw all my bags on the floor and sprinted into the bathroom, where I promptly relieved myself. Unfortunately, in this moment of blessed relief I started pulling the cord by the side of the toilet thinking that this was the flush - the next thing that I knew was 3 hotel staff rushing into the bathroom whilst I still had my trousers around my ankles.

Pastimes:
Watching most sports and playing squash, golf and running (so far 7 half-marathons under my rather bulging belt), good food and wine, especially on holidays.

Football Team:
The super Blades - Sheffield United.

Why are you at MGR?

What's the best piece of advice you've been given, and by whom?
"Don't miss the 12foot high boulder when climbing down from the top of Macchu Piccu - if you did there is a 3,000feet drop." - Given by a guy from Portsmouth who just happened to be sat there 10,000 miles from home at 9am the morning we walked up the climb.
